MINUTES OF PTA MEETING

The first executive body meeting of P. T. A of k.v.no3, bbsr for the session 2009-10 was held on 20.02.10 at 8:30 am in the principal chamber. The meeting was inaugurated with the welcome address by mrs.B. Mishra, principal, chairman, P.T.A, K.V.No3, and bbsr.

The following agenda points were discussed during the meeting.

1.       Cooperation and coordination of parents and teachers should be improved.

2.       The real situation of coaching centre is to be known by the parents and their wards maybe guided accordingly.

3.       After each test parents should come in contact with the teachers to sort out the short-coming of their wards.

4.       Fees hike is a concern for the parents and they raise the point for its solution as it is a policy matter, school authority cannot do anything in this regard.

5.       It is the general finding of PTA meetings that attendance of parents of higher classes was very poor which creates inconvenience in part of the school administration to convey academic improvement of the child to parents. Their cooperation and coordination will surely improve our teacher-learning process.

6.       Following points were discussed for general improvement of school curriculum

(a)    Sanitary part of primary section should be taken care of.

(b)    The leadership quality of students maybe enhanced by changing the monitor of the classes from time to time.

(c)    Parents maybe informed more details of new examination and evaluation system.

7.       Principal Madam informed the new admission policy of vidyalaya.

8.       The vidyalaya is not in a position to open the additional section from classes 3 to 8. Due to non-completion of new building it is resolved that comprehension agency should be approached to expedite the completion work and hand over the building latest by April 2010.

9.       The construction and modification of front side of the school should be channelized with railway authority for proper parking place.

10.   General body meeting is suggested in the month of April 2010.
